A full website refresh for The Anchor Inn — keeping the character and colours of the original, while bringing everything up to date and handing control back to the team.
The brief was straightforward: people visiting the site want to know where the pub is, when it's open, what's on the menu, and what's on that week. Whether it's a quiz night, live music or a seasonal event — regulars and new visitors alike needed to find that information quickly and easily, on any device.
We integrated a new events section so the pub can shout about upcoming nights — quiz evenings, entertainment, special events — and brought the whole site into Wagtail CMS, meaning menus, opening times, events and content can all be updated by the team without touching a line of code or picking up the phone.
